Juliet Flanagan - Lion Voices

Written By: Jacob Howell

Happy Friday, Lions! Today’s #LionVoices feature is sophomore Media Communication major, Juliet Flanagan. Juliet is from Poteau, Oklahoma and currently a member of Lions for Christ and the Honors Program.

Juliet said the welcoming atmosphere of the campus is what swayed her decision to attend »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ the most. “Everyone was so friendly, it felt like they cared about me as an individual and not just a number. The professors make learning easy and that makes me want to try harder.â€

Juliet’s plans after graduation are to continue her education through a Master’s Degree program and then later work with news broadcasting or writing. “My professors are resourceful and always help me make connections and figure out what path I want to go down.â€

Juliet said the inclusiveness and community of the entire »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ campus is what makes her most proud to be a Lion. “I am really proud of how inclusive and friendly our campus is. It’s a place that makes everyone feel at home.â€
