Tentative ResolveAn exhibit on display until June 30 in the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith will feature textile artwork by hand weaver and fiber artist Jennifer Libby Fay, with a reception slated for June.

The exhibit showcases 19 artworks by Fay, a result of her work with textiles that she has embellished and dyed for artistic effect.

I make art about transformation, imagination and healing, Fay said in an artist statement. The intention of my work is to create peace in a confusing and precarious world; to project a calm, contemplative atmosphere that energizes and restores.

Fays work has been shown in exhibitions in California, Washington, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and Arkansas, and she was named a Women to Watch by the Arkansas State Committee of the National Museum of Women.

The reception will be held from 5-6 p.m. June 8 on the west end of the first floor of the campus center. The exhibit hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
