While 18 contestants will compete for the title of Miss »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ at the scholarship pageant March 11, 25 children will enjoy the title of royalty when they participate in the Princess/Prince Program during the pageant.

 

The non-competitive program allows children ages 5-10 to meet Miss »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ 2016 and be a part of the program naming Miss »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ 2017. Each participant receives a T-shirt, goodie bag and a tiara or medallion. They will also make three onstage appearances during the Miss »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Pageant. Princess activities also include a tea party with Miss »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ and Miss Arkansas.

 

Princesses this year are:

 

Arkoma, Okla.: Stella LouAnn Rorabaugh, 7, daughter of Robert and Michelle Rorabaugh.

 

Barling: Brinnley Adams, 9, daughter of James and Anna Nelson; Adalina Natalia Quiroz, 7, daughter of Fernando and Maricela Quiroz.

 

Dyer: Nora Claire Medlock, 9, daughter of Todd and Carole Medlock.

 

Fort Smith: Emma Ann Burgess, 7, daughter of Seth Burgess and Jesse Johnson; Mackenzy Jadyn Knubley, 8, daughter of Chris and Kristel Knubley; Ember Mae Nolen, 9, daughter of Samantha and Clay Fisher and Jeremy Nolen; Everly Grace Pollard, 7, daughter of Al and Kristi Pollard; Anna Kate Serna, 7, daughter of Edward and Lauren Serna; Philip Albert Ware, 5, son of Anthony Ware and Allison Sbanotto; Olivia Whitt, 8, daughter of Kane and Judy Whitt.

Poteau, Okla.: Breyonna Lynne Peavy, 6, daughter of William and Pamela Peavy.

 

Sallisaw, Okla.: Addison Paige Burleson, 7, daughter of Kaci Burleson; Rachel Stubblefield, 11, daughter of Russell and Ellen Stubblefield.

 

Spiro, Okla.: Kendall Nancy Callahan, 5, daughter of Robert and Charlita Callahan.

 

Van Buren: Caleigh Anne Boster, 6, daughter of Michael and Alexis Boster; Haleigh Jade Boyd, 9, daughter of Michael and Rhonda Boyd; Hadleigh Marie Miller, 7, daughter of Michael and Mandy Miller and William and Dawna Dunn.

 

The Miss »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Pageant is a preliminary pageant to the Miss Arkansas and Miss America scholarship programs and will be held at 7 p.m. March 11 at the ArcBest Performing Arts Center at the Fort Smith Convention Center, located at 55 S. 7th St. Tickets are $10 and are available from the »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Box Office in the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center by calling 479-788-7300 or visiting .
